About the Project

We are looking for a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a Quotation System for a major U.S. telecom company. This system is responsible for managing a telecom product catalog, supporting bundling, and generating quotes for existing and prospective customers. As part of the enterprise systems suite, it integrates with various critical platforms such as billing, provisioning, fulfillment, and operational systems.

You will primarily work on the React-based front-end, interacting with Node.js API endpoints while also supporting a PHP web UI that accesses MySQL 5.7. While PHP expertise is not mandatory, basic familiarity with PHP for minor UI updates is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize a React-based front-end using Node.js as the execution platform.
• Implement UI components and features, ensuring seamless interaction with backend API endpoints.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and enhance front-end performance.
• Ensure code quality, responsiveness, and scalability of the application.
• Support minor updates and improvements in the PHP web UI, which is a standalone application with minimal dependencies.
• Utilize Webpack (or equivalent bundling tools) for efficient delivery of front-end code.

• Work in an agile team to optimize the user experience and ensure system reliability.

   

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js skills.
• Experience with React state management (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration.
• Basic knowledge of PHP for minor UI support (not mandatory but a plus).
• Experience with Webpack or similar tools for frontend code delivery.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of Git for version control.

• Upper-Intermediate English for communication with the team.

   

Nice to Have

• Basic experience with PHP-based UI applications.
• Experience in telecom or enterprise systems.
• Exposure to backend development concepts in Node.js.
