Senior Video Codecs Developer Offline

Responsibilities:

Develop new video compression/processing algorithms using both CPU and GPU that effectively implement standard video codecs

Code optimization, profiling

Code review

Estimation of development activities

Unit tests implementation

Mandatory Skills:

- Good knowledge in video and image coding principles, algorithms, and techniques.

- Good knowledge in video compression standards, such VP9, AV1, HEVC, VVC.

- Experienced in assessing visual quality using both objective metrics and subjective techniques.

- Good software design, problem solving, and debugging skills.

- Good C/C++ programming skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with GPU compute programming (Cuda, OpenCL, etc.).

- Familiarity with CPU SIMD programming (SSE, AVX, Neon, etc.).
