Payment Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payment Operations Specialist to join our Operations team. As a Payment Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of financial transactions within our organization, as well as maintaining the company’s payments operations up to date with the latest standards and regulations. 

Job location: Lviv, Ukraine; 
Job type: Full time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating and maintaining reports related to payment processing, account balances, and transaction history for internal and external use
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the payment operations workflow and work collaboratively with the team to implement enhancements
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of payment operations processes, procedures, and workflows for reference and training purposes
• Maintaining communication with the other departments and ensuring projects are being delivered
• Reviewing, analyzing and managing incoming disputes and representments
• Analyzing documentation and information in order to ensure validity of disputes
• Assistance will all situations relating to order management
• Maintaining an understanding of the business operations
• Maintaining proper knowledge of card schemes rules and regulations
• Assisting on special projects as assigned
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and company policies related to payments and financial transactions to ensure compliance
   

Requirements:

• Previous experience in payment operations, financial services, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using payment processing software and tools
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to reconcile discrepancies and troubleshoot payment-related issues
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
• Upper Intermediate English level is a must
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities effectively without losing attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written skills
