We are looking for a freelance PHP developer who is an experienced Moodle expert to assist a team of developers with an ongoing UA-based EdTech project

Requirements:
● 3+ years of experience in IT;
● Knowledge of PHP 5–8, experience with PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Yii, etc.);
● Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as AMD modules, jQuery, SCSS, Bootstrap 4, especially for Moodle theme customization;
● Recent hands-on experience with Moodle 3.5+;
● Understanding of the internals of Moodle including but not limited to Event APIs, Adhoc tasks, custom cli utilities, Contexts, Completions, Backup and Restore;
● Experience in writing custom modules and themes for Moodle;
● Knowledge of MySQL or other RDBMS, NoSQL solutions;
● Effective communication skills to align with project goals and ensure smooth collaboration;
● Experience to handle project without supporting resources (BA, QA);
● Spoken and written English at least Intermediate.

Nice to have:
● Experience in scaling Moodle;
● Knowledge of containerization principles, and hands-on experience with Docker.
