Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable database systems.
• Optimize database queries and processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Implement solutions to improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of database systems.
• Develop and enforce database standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices to continuously improve the database infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Database Specialist, Database Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience in optimizing database queries and improving database performance.
• Familiarity with high-traffic platforms and handling large datasets.
• Proficiency in database design, scaling, and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in crypto or blockchain based projects.
• Knowledge of liquidity aggregator platforms and DeFi.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
