We’re looking for a talented ML/AI/LLM Engineer to join our team and “agentify” our SaaS platform, leveraging advanced AI capabilities to deliver personalized, proactive, and highly automated solutions.

 

Role Overview

As the ML/AI/LLM Engineer, you will spearhead the development of intelligent agents to transform our SaaS platform into a conversational, automated, and highly intuitive assistant for hospice businesses. You will design, develop, and deploy AI/LLM-driven features that improve workflows, enhance decision-making, and automate routine tasks, ensuring compliance and efficiency in this highly regulated industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Agent Development: Build and implement AI-driven agents leveraging LLMs to automate and enhance key functionalities of the platform, such as scheduling, patient care coordination, inventory tracking, etc.
  • LLM Integration: Fine-tune and deploy large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face) for domain-specific applications, ensuring high relevance and accuracy in hospice-related tasks.
  • AI Architecture: Design and maintain scalable ML pipelines for training, deploying, and monitoring AI/LLM models within the SaaS environment.
  • Natural Language Interfaces: Develop conversational interfaces and voice/chat integrations to create a seamless user experience for hospice professionals.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Use AI/ML to derive actionable insights from operational and patient data, helping clients improve care outcomes and streamline administrative processes.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all AI solutions comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and ethical AI principles.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to align AI features with business goals and user needs.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously improve model performance, efficiency, and responsiveness to meet the dynamic needs of hospice businesses.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in ML/AI development, with a focus on LLMs and agent-based architectures.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with LLMs (GPT, BERT, T5, etc.) and fine-tuning models for domain-specific use cases.
    • Familiarity with ML pipelines and tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow).
    • Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
    • Expertise in NLP, conversational AI, and chatbot frameworks.
    • Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
    • Transformer models.
    • RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
    • ReAct and LangChain for language model applications.
    • Supervised and Unsupervised ML.
    • Vector databases.
    • AWS for cloud computing and machine learning services.
    • Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
  • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Understanding of hospice or healthcare industry workflows is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to translate complex requirements into AI solutions with practical, real-world impact.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
