DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for long-term contract work to join our distributed team. You will work to help implement various solutions for US Teams under the direction of respective Product and Project Managers.

Ideal Candidates:

- Work closely with the Architect and Software Engineers on solutioning CI/CD, Platform Quality, Resilience, Security and Scalability

- Experienced with Amazon Web Services (ECS, Fargate, EC2, RDS, Kafka, etc.)

- Maintain and improve CI/CD Pipeline

- Establish and Monitor production system and resources to detect problems before they are encountered

- Create and Maintain deployment scripts

- Maintain failover and disaster recovery

- Maintain high security of all data and subsystems

- Maintain databases

- Help configure and maintain Grafana Dashboards and Alerts

- Maintain Prometheus

- Collaborate with team members to come up with the best solutions for the product design.

- Contribute to the positive work culture and an environment that facilitates learning, exploration, and growth

- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Node.js and ability to contribute to the development is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

- Monitoring, Observability, and Alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS)

- Database Management (Mongo, PostgreSQL)

- Administering CI/CD pipeline

- Configure and Manage Backup and Disaster Recovery
