Join our team as a Frontend Team Leader and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Bineral's leading dating app. You will take ownership of the frontend, ensuring product quality throughout its lifecycle from ideation to launch. Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, content creators, and marketing professionals to solve complex problems, deliver new features, and drive user satisfaction.

 

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working within the React Js ecosystem
  • Proven experience leading other frontend developers delivering high performing applications
  • Comfortable working in Typescript
  • Proficient with React component libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design or similar
  • Unit and Integration testing using Jest and React Testing Library
  • CSS styling using less/sass
  • Desirable: experience with websockets using laravel-echo / socket.io
  • Desirable: end-to-end testing with cypress or playwright

 

Primary Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of frontend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Code Review: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and maintainability.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide technical guidance and support to team members in resolving complex frontend issues.
  • Innovation: Encourage and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.

Team Management

  • Team Development: Hire, train, and mentor frontend developers to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Team Dynamics: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Project Management

  • Project Planning: Contribute to project planning and estimation, ensuring frontend deliverables align with project goals.
  • Task Delegation: Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and identify potential bottlenecks or risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including product managers and clients.

Quality Assurance

  • Quality Standards: Define and enforce frontend quality standards and guidelines.
  • Testing: Ensure that frontend code is thoroughly tested and meets quality requirements.
  • Accessibility: Advocate for accessibility standards and ensure that frontend interfaces are accessible to all users.

Process Improvement

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Tool Adoption: Evaluate and recommend new tools or technologies to enhance team efficiency.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team

 

What We Require:

  • Have experience in the B2C, ideally something in the dating, social network, communication tool sector
  • Effectively troubleshoot complex frontend issues and provide solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality code is delivered by the team, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to project planning and estimation, ensuring frontend deliverables align with project goals.
  • Assign tasks effectively based on team members' skills and expertise.
  • Ensure that frontend code is thoroughly tested and meets quality requirements.
  • Advocate for accessibility standards and ensure that frontend interfaces are accessible to all users.
