Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

The M&A Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. This role includes identifying potential targets, conducting due diligence, developing financial models, negotiating deal terms, and overseeing post-merger integration. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and negotiation skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and processes.
This role is critical for driving inorganic growth and ensuring the company achieves its strategic and financial objectives.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- At least 5–8 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or consulting
- Proven track record of executing successful M&A transactions
- Proficiency in financial modeling and tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with data rooms, CRM systems, and valuation platforms
- At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

- Strategic Planning and Target Identification:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define M&A strategy aligned with business goals
- Research and identify acquisition opportunities, including targets that fit strategic and financial criteria
- Develop market intelligence on industry trends, competitors, and potential partners
- Deal Execution:
- Lead the evaluation of potential deals, including market assessment, financial analysis, and risk identification
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess valuation, synergies, and ROI
- Prepare business cases and presentations for executive and board-level decision-making
- Manage relationships with investment banks, consultants, and advisors involved in M&A processes
- Due Diligence:
- Coordinate and oversee cross-functional due diligence processes, involving finance, legal, HR, operations, and IT teams
- Identify and quantify risks, liabilities, and potential challenges
- Work with external advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and financial requirements
- Negotiation and Deal Structuring:
- Negotiate deal terms, including purchase price, structure, and contingencies
- Draft term sheets, contracts, and other transaction-related documents with the support of legal teams
- Ensure deals align with the company’s financial and strategic objectives
- Post-Merger Integration:
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure smooth transition and realization of deal value
- Monitor the progress of integration plans and adjust strategies as needed
