Front-End Developer for The People Group Offline

The People Group is a Netherlands-based ?? geo-company who is working on building an innovative, groundbreaking and disruptive platform specialized in the civil sector and, in particular, in the underground infrastructure.

 

The company The People Group was created by merging various companies within the Civil sector. What started as a secondment firm, has grown into an established company of more than 250 people.

 

A subsidiary of The People Group is TPG Software & Training. They develop software on two important platforms for completely different markets: their SaaS solutions for telecom, gas, water and electricity and software for governments and parties that work with CAD software, for which we also provide training.

 

The SaaS product to work on is a web platform that has been developed using open source components and consists of algorithms that can determine routes and a complete webbased engineering environment, controlling every step. For this, available (open) data is useed in a smart way to realize new connections of fiberglass, water or energy. The current process is disrupted with a smart, web-based

platform that provides insight into where current pipelines and connections run. New networks

can be added conveniently and efficiently by means of algorithms within the application.

 

Responsibilities:

Write clean, scalable, tested code using JavaScript

Working in civil engineering sphere

Software design aligned with architecture specifications

Quickly identify and communicate risks, problems, delays and drive finding solutions to ensure a favourable outcome

 

Requirements:

Highly experienced in JavaScript

HTML5 / CSS3

Good level of expertise in Angular2+

Unit testing knowledge

Experience with Relational DB (Postgre SQL)

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English

Will be a plus:

Interest in or knowledge of geography is an advantage ?

Node.js knowledge

Experience in Agile software development methodologies
