Description:

Testing of TV streaming applications for an international broadcasting company headquartered in New York, US. The company owns several television channels/brands and has developed state-of-the-art TV streaming applications for Android TV, Android Mobile, iOS, tvOS, Roku, Web, Fire TV platforms, and wants to have a solid QA framework to continuously test these applications.

Requirements:

• Eagerness to learn manual testing
• Good Requirement analysis skills
• Good defects finding and reporting skills
• English – Intermediate+
• Knowledge of testing theory (test types, test cases, bug reports, etc.)
• Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and databases
• Basic knowledge of hardware
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills, good logical thinking
• Willingness to work on a stable long-term project

Would be a plus:

• Experience with data traffic analyzers (Wireshark, Charles, etc.)
• Experience with Jira, TestRails/Allure, Figma

Responsibilities:

• Manual testing of digital media applications on different platforms (Android TV, Fire TV, Web, iOS, tvOS, Android Mobile, etc.)
• API Testing using Postman
• Status reporting
• Review of new features’ requirements, review of test-cases, test-case coverage
• Investigating and reporting issues
• Communication with Client on a daily basis
• Configuration of test environment
