We are looking for Lead DB/SQL Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION

Our client is a global data, analytics, and technology company headquartered in Atlanta. It operates or has investments in 24 countries in North America, Central and South America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.

The client is modernizing systems and migrating to google cloud. As part of this effort they need to consolidate 3 functionally similar applications related to ACA Obama Care Act and deploy in GCP. This role is to migrate on-prem MS SQL server to cloud based MySQL or PostgreSQL, and further assist client in enhancement and implementation of new features.

The role is planned with BT to Charleston, SC (USA).

 

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• 3+ years of Team lead/Lead DBA experience

• Strong MS SQL experience

• Proficiency in SQL Server Scripting, data analysis and testing

• Expertise in SQL Server code troubleshooting, debugging

• AWS and Google cloud experience is highly desirable

• Experience in migration of ETL process to Cloud – is a plus

• Agile SDLC

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Good collaboration and communication including English, level (B1+) both written and spoken
