Data Engineer with Strong Database Skills to $5000 Offline

Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer with solid experience in optimizing and refactoring ETLs to join our growing Data Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our data pipelines, optimizing or building new ETLs, and participating in system or database design. If you have strong programming skills, a solid understanding of data systems, and an interest in improving your skills, this role could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Refactoring and Optimizing existing ETLs.
• Design and Build new ETLs.
• Participate in systems or database design.
• Help the team with automations, scripts, or other coding tasks.
• Verify data accuracy and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of database systems.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Proficiency in Pandas. 
• Experience in building ETLs for any size of input/output data.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, ClickHouse.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. 

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with BitBucket and Jira.
• Understanding digital marketing domain terms: ads, traffic, impressions, clicks, etc.

You will also interact with the Web Development team, but less frequently.
We speak both: Ukrainian and Russian.
