Head of Product

Job Summary:
GigaCloud, a leading Ukrainian cloud provider expanding into the European Union, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Head of Product to drive our product offerings' marketing strategy and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management and product marketing within the IT services industry, specifically focusing on the Polish market.

Location: Warsaw or Remote (preferably Western Europe)
Reports to: CTO

The role of Head of Product in our company involves leading product development, defining product strategy and vision, collaborating with teams, analyzing the market and competitors, and ensuring the product meets customer needs and company business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and refine the positioning of GigaCloud's products and services, including private and public cloud offerings.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle (creation, development, launch, operation) and technologies (PLM, Roadmap).
  • Formulate business and functional requirements for products and technologies.
  • Ensure regular improvements and adjustments to current products/services.
  • Plan and budget for products, services, and technologies.
  • Analyze and forecast key product indicators, develop business plans, and assess the economic efficiency of products.
  • Develop pricing strategies and product line development plans.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches and updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across product development, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns across various channels
  • Provide the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and support to sell GigaCloud's products effectively.
  • Develop strategies to engage existing customers, gather feedback, and drive customer advocacy.
  • Implement initiatives to increase customer retention and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with technology companies, system integrators, and resellers.
  • Establish KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness and regularly monitor and analyze performance data.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives align with regulatory factors.
  • Ensure company employees' competence in products, services, and technologies.
  • Define knowledge and skill requirements and organize training and knowledge transfer.
  • Control and evaluate team competence in products and services.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in product management and product marketing within IT services (experience in the Polish market is a must)
  • Excellent understanding of cloud technologies, including VMware, OpenStack, Hyperscales offering, and Multi-Cloud services
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute GTM strategies in international markets
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively navigating cultural differences and building relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with an analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Fluent in English (proficiency in Ukrainian and Polish is a plus)
  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills
  • Experience marketing to startups and SMBs

Key Objectives (6-12 months):

  • Onboard and take ownership of the existing GC service offering
  • Develop and execute a new campaign for the Polish market and achieve a growth target
