Middle/Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js, SQL, TypeScript) Offline

Entire Framework (entireframework.com) opens a position for an experienced backend engineer to work on an ongoing project. You will be building new features from scratch, improving existing architecture and test coverage, and setting up integrations for a full-scale e-commerce/management system. You will also conduct code cross-reviews inside the backend team.

Besides this project, we also expect a candidate to join us for other future projects in various fields (please check our website/Instagram for reference).

Stack and requirements:

• Node.js (Nest.js)
• Experience in SQL development (Prisma, TypeORM, MikroORM or any other modern ORM)
• JavaScript / TypeScript 
• Experience working with GraphQL API
• Kubernetes
• Kafka / Apache Pulsar / BullMQ would be a plus
• Experience writing unit, E2E tests (Jest, Playwright or other tools)
• Git (Yarn/NPM)
• Experience delivering digital products of different complexity like e-commerce stores, management systems or similar

Nice to have:

• Understanding the scalability management principles for high-load projects
• Experience working with payment integrations (Stripe, Braintree etc.)
• Experience working with headless CMS

Communication:

• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to clearly explain/document your position and decision-making
• Ability to provide clear feedback during peer reviews

Job type and location:

• Part-time (potential to grow into full-time), long-term
