QA Engineer Offline

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic team on a highly confidential project. The project is under NDA, so we can’t share any information before signing an agreement. We use Unity as our core technology, with integrations in AI and blockchain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of QA theory, exceptional problem-solving skills, and effective communication in English.
Responsibilities:
 

• Design and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Analyze user stories and identify edge cases to ensure high-quality testing.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss and estimate tasks for upcoming iterations.
• Interact with third-party teams via managers or directly to explain bug nature when needed.
• Apply various test design techniques to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Document test results, bugs, and enhancements thoroughly.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand and test AI functionality, ensuring it performs as intended.
• Provide insightful feedback on user experience and suggest improvements.
• Write and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:
 

• Own an Oculus Quest 3 (or at least Quest 2).
• Proven experience in QA testing, especially on VR platforms, with a strong understanding of QA theory and principles.
• Familiarity with test design techniques and the ability to apply them effectively.
• Understanding of regression testing and its importance in the development process.
• Proficiency in analyzing user stories and identifying edge cases.
• Experience in writing detailed and clear test documentation.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with AI, including understanding prompt engineering and techniques for testing and manipulating AI behavior.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to describe and document both bugs and improvements.
• Capability to analyze and understand user experience, providing valuable insights.

Nice to Have:
 

• Ability to distinguish between smoke and sanity testing.
• Technical background.

Ideal Candidate Will:
 

• Write ideal bug reports, describing the issue, steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and possible improvements.
• Share an example of their biggest professional mistake and what they learned from it.
