RoR Lead/Architect Developer (offline)

Our partner company, a fast-growing US-based men's healthcare brand Rugiet (https://www.rugietmen.com/), is looking for a lead/architect-level RoR developer.

It's a well-developed startup (making well into 8-figures in annual revenue) with a fairly complicated monolith product and a current team of ~6 developers.

The product consists of an e-commerce component (based on a heavily modified Spree platform), customer dashboard, telemedicine component (software for doctors to get on a videocall with customers), a pharmacy fulfillment component (software that pharmacies use when they prepare and send out our orders), and more. All components are fully HIPAA compliant.

The whole platform is built on RoR as an MVC application, it's a giant monolith that's difficult and expensive to maintain, and it currently requires a significant amount of re-architecture in order to continue serving the business needs.

Outside of supporting our own products, we're building the platform to become a "Shopify of healthcare products" – it's an ambitious initiative that's going to require a very talented team.

We're looking for an extremely experienced developer who can build a step-by-step plan of moving on to a new platform architecture, is comfortable digging into complicated code, can work with ambiguity, be autonomous given the context and direction, and be a right hand man/woman to CTO or the VP Engineering.
