We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to ensure the highest quality in our blockchain projects. As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in our software development process. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure our blockchain applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your expertise will help us deliver reliable and secure blockchain solutions to our clients.

Project domain: Blockchain, dePIN, Decentralized Storage

Project stack: Go, GRPC, Protobuf, libp2p, IPC, ABCI, Filecoin RPC, FEVM deal-making, CID, CAR files

Team on the project: Architect, Tech Lead, 9 BE devs, PM, 2 DevOps, 3 QA, Front-end, BA

Requirements:
 

• 5+ years of experience in software automation testing
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, including smart contracts, consensus algorithms, and decentralized applications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Solidity
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Experience with blockchain testing tools and frameworks such as Truffle, Ganache, Hardhat, or similar
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software
• Upper-Intermediate English

Nice to have: 
 

• Experience with performance and security testing for blockchain applications
• Knowledge of cryptographic principles and practices
• Experience with cloud platform such as AWS
• Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

Responsibilities:
 

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for blockchain applications
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test strategies
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects and issues to the development team
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not broken by new changes
• Continuously improve the automation testing process and framework to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in blockchain technology and automation testing
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the automation test environment and scripts
