Business Analyst (offline)

Barwenock is a US-based award-winning software engineering company with experience in developing complex solutions for companies worldwide. Currently, we’re looking for the Business Analyst specialist for the upcoming project!

 

Location: Remote (US Eastern Time Zone or UK preferred)

 

Contract Type: Short-term, 1-3 months

 

Key Requirements:

 

Proficiency in Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools, Salesforce (SFDC) as a user, QlikView reporting tool, project management tools, business intelligence tools, and capacity planning tools.

Strong understanding of Business Process Management and Operational Excellence (OPEX).

Experience in IT Service Delivery and/or Supply Chain industries.

Demonstrated ability to apply economic thinking, operational metrics, project costing, and accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

 

Lead and maintain Salesforce/PSA systems for Forecasting, Resource Management, Billing Operations, and performance monitoring.

Provide guidance and insights to PS teams to achieve Forecast, Resource utilization, and Billing targets.

Configure reports, dashboards, and data analysis to provide key insights and recommendations.

Proactively identify and address operational issues and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with departmental leaders to implement new policies, procedures, and processes.

Train employees on new systems and processes.

Develop and update policies and procedures to enhance performance and compliance.

Work closely with PS management to achieve company goals and enhance workflow.

Required Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations Analyst or similar roles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Proficiency in financial modeling, resource forecasting, and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience with PSA, SFDC, QlikView, project management tools, and business intelligence tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Operations management or Project Management certification.

Strong soft skills including analytical, planning, and negotiation abilities.

Curious and investigative mindset with critical thinking skills.

Flexible and adaptable approach with strong negotiation and mediation skills.

 

The role is designed for individuals with existing commitments, requiring a minimum of 30 hours weekly and offering flexibility to accommodate current work schedules.
