DevOps Engineer (offline)

We are currently searching for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our global streaming platform, primarily serving Tier-1 countries such as the USA, Canada, and the UK. Our ambitious goal is to achieve a top-5 status among streaming platforms within 3 years.

In this role, you will
- Modify Kubernetes manifests using Kustomize
- Implement autoscaling and downgrade for Carpenter nodes
- Set up alerting for infrastructure issues such as exceeding memory limits, pod restarts, etc., and send notifications to Slack channels
- Deploy and manage Kafka clusters
- Configure Grafana for monitoring technical and product metrics
Integrate Cloudflare for enhanced security and performance
- Configure Bitrise to work with GitLab
- Set up Firebase alerts using Cloud Functions
- Implement Artifactory, for example, JFrog, for artifact management
- Deploy and manage an ELK system
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines to include the ability to run tests
- Implement cost optimization strategies
- Integrate GitLab with Slack and approvals workflows
- Deploy and manage a self-hosted Sentry instance

It’s all about you
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps
- Solid experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECR, EKS, S3, SQS, SNS, Route53, etc.
- Proficiency in managing Kafka clusters
- Experience with Terraform 
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Flux, and Kustomize
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration
- Experience with Jenkins and GitLab pipelines 
- Proficiency in using infrastructure monitoring tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
- Well-organized and result-oriented, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to learn and apply critical thinking skills

Would be a plus
- Experience with Node.js
