Dynamics 365 FO Data Migration Lead (offline)

We are looking for Dynamics 365 F&O Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute the migration from a custom ERP to D365 F&O

Our large energy client is seeking a Sr. Dynamics 365 F&O Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute the migration from a custom ERP to D365 F&O to start ideally ASAP until December 31, 2024 with chance of extension.

Chosen candidate must come into the office 5 days/week downtown Calgary.

Must-have:

Experience in Data Migration from AX 2009/2012 to D365 F&O (Finance & Operations / FO)

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 FO Data Models

Proven experience on AX 2012/D365 FO Data Integration such as AP, AR, or EDI

Proficiency in D365 FO data management, including data import, export, and manipulation

Experience developing procedures and scripts for data migration

Nice to have:

Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL

Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

Knowledge and experience mapping source to target data including complex transformations within SSIS or via coded extensions

Experience working within a retail / wholesale business domain

Project Scope Overview:

Migrate multiple legal business entities from a custom ERP to D365 F&O

Replacement of back-office ERP for distributed wholesale network

Transitioning from custom built ERP to Dynamics 365 Finance / SCM

Replacement of product distribution system which has both software and hardware components

Replacement of customer facing web portal for account management

The new solution will support critical business capabilities while delivering new functionality and process efficiency to enable associates to better manage their business

Responsibilities:

Devise data migration strategy for simultaneous multiple separate legal entity migration

Execute multiple data migrations, including extraction, mapping, filter, validation, and testing

Execute data imports, exports, and cleansing activities
