Middle Python Engineer with AWS Stack $2500-3000 Offline

We are looking for a Senior Python engineer to strengthen our team in the travel and tourism domain.

You'll leverage your expertise in AWS services like S3, Kinesis, and ECS, alongside Python proficiency, to architect and optimize cloud-based solutions.

Your responsibilities will include data processing stack development, including many aspects such as architecture and engineering, infrastructure, DevOps/TechOps, security, compliance, and others.

- Duration: 3-6 months (with possible prolongation)

- Start: ASAP

- Location: Ukraine only

- Ukrainian PE is a must-have to sign a B2B contract

Requirements:

- Hands-on experience in AWS and Python.

- Knowledge of Agile processes and DevOps development.

- Expertise in using Amazon Web Services:

1) S3/Kinesis/SQS/SNS

2) Data & Search Services: AWS CloudSearch, Athena, OpenSearch, and Elasticsearch

3) ECS/Docker/ Fargate

4) Familiarity with Events, Streams, Messaging and Queues

5) Lambda functions

6) Dynamo DB

- Experience implementing Rest APIs. API Gateway, and strong knowledge of microservices and APIgee.

- Comfortable working with SQL and NoSQL

- Ability to perform Code and peer reviews.

Would be a big plus:

- Hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL, ETL/ELT style Data processing, Data warehousing & Data Lake.

- Snowflake or knowledge of any DWH.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, concepts, and best practices (e.g., ODS, Data Mart, Data Lakes).
