Senior C++ Engineer, expert in infrustructure

We`re looking for a highly qualified C++ Engineer with strong skills in the areas of virtualisation, hypervisors and containerisation to join the German innovative technology company. Their flagship technology, encrypts software, firmware, and sensitive data with top-notch cryptographic algorithms and methods. It protects the integrity of digital assets, technical know-how, and intellectual property against piracy, reverse engineering, tampering, sabotage, and cyberattacks.

Containerisation and virtualisation expertise:

The expert will use their expertise in containerisation and virtualisation solutions (e.g. Docker, Podman, VMware, UTM, Parallels etc.) to identify the appropriate binding characteristics. He is responsible for the in-depth analysis of the binding characteristics of leading virtualisation platforms such as AWS and/or Google Cloud, to uniquely identify the system on which protected applications are running. This involves selecting the best features and, if necessary, developing procedures to securely bundle these features.

C++ development:

Responsible for prototyping solutions using C++ to implement the software protection and licensing mechanisms, paying particular attention to code quality and efficiency.

Preffered qualifications:

— strong knowledge of the C++ programming language

— at least 5 years of experience as a software engineer

— In-depth knowledge of containerisation (e.g. Docker, Podman), virtualisation (e.g. VMware, UTM, Parallels, Xen) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud)

— Familiarity with security best practices and encryption techniques

— Experience with licensing models and mechanisms
