Junior NodeJS Developer $500-600

We are looking for a talented Junior NodeJS Developer to join our team.

About the projects

ERP: We develop an ERP system for maritime companies, which allows purchasers, officers, and captains to order spare parts, food, and all the necessary equipment on the vessel; to track officers’ daily tasks; to keep track of invoices; live budgeting, and more. The application went live as POC. Currently, we are developing new modules and enhancing the existing ones based on the feedback from users.

Blockchain: We work with different blockchain projects. Currently, we are developing an analytics platform for one of the quickly growing blockchains. The project builds around parsing, analyzing, and storing data in the custom binary storage.

As a Backend developer, your main responsibilities will be to create endpoints and logic of the application, parse and analyze data, participate in the features grooming, and make demos to the client.

Tasks:
- Writing the backend part for the REST API.
- Integration of new modules to the existing project.
- Parsing, analyzing, and storing data.
- Fixing bugs.
- Writing technical documentation for your tasks.
- Tasks estimation.
- Demo to the clients.

Requirements:
Experience (1+ year) as a Junior NodeJS Developer with a strong focus on NodeJS development in a production environment.
English level A2-B1.
JavaScript.
- NodeJS, Express.js, Nest.js.
- Experience with SQL, and NoSQL databases (writing simple SQL requests).
- Typescript.
- Git.
- Experience with git and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Containerization technologies such as Docker (run, expect, delete).
- Basic knowledge of REST API.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Basic understanding of Kanban/Scrum and experience working with one of the methodologies.

Will be Plus:
- Type ORM.
- Writing unit tests.
- Will be a big plus if you have experience in ERP projects.
