Reconciliation Data Analyst

Full-time, long term, remote

 

We are looking for a Reconciliation Data Analyst to join our team. This is a remote contract (12 Months+) opportunity offering the chance to join a dynamic team with an Enterprise client. Years of experience or visa status do not matter as long as the Must-have skills are met. However, the candidate must be in Canada on an open work permit, PR, or Citizen.

 

The industry of a customer is IT Consulting.

 

Must-Have:

- AI/ML experience with Generative AI is required;

- Experience in Data Extraction and Transformation Tools: Proficient in using tools like SQL, Python (or similar scripting languages) for data extraction and manipulation;

- Understanding of the data ingestion process for Recon: In-depth knowledge of how data is ingested, cleansed, and prepared for reconciliation processes within the specific Recon system used by the company;

- Experience with the pre-proposal stage of SmartStream TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management): Familiarity with the pre-proposal stage of SmartStream TLM, including data mapping, rule definition, and test plan creation;

- Understanding of Multiple Types of Reconciliation setups: Point in Time (PIT), Proofing, Hybrid, etc.: A solid understanding of the different reconciliation methodologies and their functionalities for various use cases.

 

Additional Relevant Skills:

- Data Analysis and Visualization: Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful reports and visualizations to identify and communicate reconciliation discrepancies;

- Data Quality Management: Ability to assess and ensure the quality and accuracy of data used for reconciliations;

- Reconciliation Rule Development: Experience in developing and maintaining reconciliation rules based on business requirements and data characteristics;

- Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot reconciliation issues, diagnose root causes, and propose solutions;

- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data providers.

 

Bonus Skills:

- Experience with other reconciliation tools (e.g., Murex, OpenLink);

- Experience with Agile methodologies;

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for reconciliation processes.
