Lead Automation Test Engineer with Java Offline

Infopulse Poland is inviting a talented professional to join our growing team as a Lead Automation Test Engineer with Java knowledge in Gdansk.

You will work in a diverse, agile, highly international environment with ambitious people determined to reach our common goal – to meet the unique needs of our customer.

Tools and technology used: Java Message Service (JMS), qTest, Gherkin/BDD, Selenium, Maven, Git.

This position requires a hybrid work model: remote work - 60%, office work - 40%.

Areas of Responsibility

Managing the team of 4 AQA engineers.

Extending our Regression pack and adding new functionalities to the existing framework.

Writing automated tests to cover multiple application layers like Web, DB, API, JMS, CLI, BDD.

Testing web services.

Testing CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Experience in guiding AQA team members.

Experience with Java, not only in writing new test cases but also in new functionalities (no exact libraries required, we focus on logical thinking, not learned rules).

Understanding of the basics of software testing according to ISTQB methodology.

Knowledge of SQL.

Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Understanding of Clean Code principles and the practice of applying them.

Familiarity with the design pattern POM (Page Object Pattern) in the context of testing with Selenium.
