Business Analyst/Product Owner (BA/PO)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner to join our team.

Project: A start-up in event management from the US.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, aligning with company objectives and customer needs.
- Proactively gather requirements from stakeholders and team members through effective questioning and active listening.
- Create detailed ticket descriptions, ensuring clear understanding of tasks and objectives for development and implementation.
- Manage and monitor the progress of tasks, keeping track of stages from conception to completion.
- Maintain a holistic understanding of the big picture vision for the product and its evolution over time.
- Serve as a coach for the entire team, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with project goals and priorities.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine requirements, and prioritize features.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas and facilitate understanding across the team.
- Experience with API documentation and database design is a plus, aiding in the integration and scalability of the product.
- Ability to critically evaluate business ideas, and challenging assumptions to ensure feasibility and alignment with desired outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building product roadmaps and guiding product development cycles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Experience working directly with stakeholders in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with API documentation and database design creation principles is preferred.
- Background in manual or automation testing is a big plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to change and ambiguity with resilience and creativity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in product development processes.
