QA Automation engineer Offline
The position is designed for an individual with prior experience in Quality Assurance (QA) for mobile and desktop gaming. This role is pivotal in maintaining our games’ high quality, functionality, and user satisfaction. The Senior QA will collaborate closely with the development team to detect, report, and manage game bugs and issues while offering constructive feedback to enhance the gaming experience for users.
Key Duties
Conduct comprehensive testing across different platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS) to find and report any bugs, glitches, or issues in mobile and desktop games.
Perform in-depth testing for new features, non-functional aspects, and regression testing to ensure all areas are covered.
Create detailed testing documentation, including test cases, plans, and scripts, for thorough coverage of both mobile and desktop games.
Coordinate team testing sessions for collective game testing before launches, which also serves as training.
Work in collaboration with the development and design teams to convey bugs and suggest improvements.
Engage in regular discussions with the team to review project status, identify challenges, and brainstorm solutions.
Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in game testing and QA.
Qualifications
Experience in the gaming sector, focusing on both mobile and desktop platforms.
Proficient in identifying unique issues, bugs, and defects through timely exploratory testing.
A deep understanding of gaming platforms, devices, and operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS).
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting.
Skilled in organizing and planning group testing activities.
A strong passion for gaming and commitment to delivering outstanding player experiences.
Additional Skills
Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks and experience in it.
Experience with Unity editor and version control systems like Plastic SCM.
Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana).
