Overview

Given the great success of A5 Labs, we are now looking to appoint an experienced QA Engineer to help our QA Team and company scale up at speed. We are seeking a self-starter, who is experienced in evaluating the needs of our fast-growing group company and can shape and grow our QA capabilities in line with the business growth.

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality of our Poker domain by designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Applying test automation where necessary. Working closely with the Product Manager and the Engineering team.

What will you do for us?

Dedication to work: we need a hard worker to be able to maintain a high performance on a daily basis tasks in the fully remote work environment
To work without a supervisor, you will own the testing domain for the engineering team (with potentially expanding it and build you own team)

Test old and new features for the Poker-related software

Having a proper test design in place before the execution to ensure better Test Coverage.

Monitor and analyze quality performance.

Collaborate with the Product and Development Team to achieve consistent project execution.

Continuous investigation through Regression to ensure quality.

Create and maintain a suite of test cases in TestRail.

Identify test automation opportunities and implement solutions

Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of automated tests

Execute automated tests and report on test results

Collaborate effectively with ProductTeam, Developers, Designers, DevOps Engineers, and the wider business.

Investigate and create bug reports in Jira.

Perform ad hoc testing requests from reports raised by our customers.

Maintain and expand the regression testing suite.

What you’ll bring to the table?

A deep understanding of Poker is a must (A level of 'I play poker with my friends' is not enough; At least VPIP and PFR terms are not something you will ask LLM what that is) 

Familiarity with how the Poker Solver apps work

4+ years of experience working in a fast-paced quality assurance environment.

Experience in Web-based Application Testing and Software QA tools and processes.

Excellent speaking and writing English skills (C1+). Communicating within the team is fully in English

Critical Thinker and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand how the application interacts with other external systems and how to apply proper testing algorithms to make sure it works as expected.

Hands-on experience in any Test case Management tool.

Excellent test case management skills (Design, Execution, maintenance, Test Coverage)

Basic experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress.io

Strong experience with mobile native applications on both iOS and Android platforms testing.

Demonstrable experience in creating QA capability, ideally in a growing organization.

Experience working in a collaborative Agile (Scrum / Kanban) environment.

In-depth experience testing applications on desktop and mobile, as well as web-based solutions.
