DevOps Engineer - Aviation Projects Offline

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in designing, implementing, and maintaining the integration, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines for our cabin and cargo integration environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the delivery of project infrastructure, enabling its design and implementation, including development, testing, and automation tooling
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• Monitor and optimize project infrastructure proactively striving for automation and scalability
• Collaborate with the development team to understand how to best facilitate progress
• Document infrastructure and deployment processes
• Follow DevOps best practices as well as best-industry standards

Your work will allow for the successful development and production of multiple Software Systems for use on Boeing platforms while working with a globally distributed team of software engineers.

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps

• Experience with Azure Cloud Services

• Mastery of deployment tools (Azure ARM, Jenkins, Gitlab, …)

• Understanding of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Batch…)

• Understanding of database fundamentals, and working experience with PostgreSQL is a plus

• Good understanding of JAMA, JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab, etc

• Excellent understanding of monitoring and altering tools (ELK, Adobe Analytics, Azure Monitoring, Kibana …)

• Confident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectations

• Good verbal & written English

Nice to have:
•  Cloud Providers certifications: Azure preferred, AWS/GCP beneficial
•  Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift certifications
