Start-up Tech Lead / CTO $7500-10500 Offline

This is a unique opportunity to join ListAlpha, a fast-growing software company in the private equity CRM market. We are looking for an ambitious Tech Lead / CTO who will be responsible for leading all aspects of the technical organization. We are headquartered in London, UK, however have a distributed workforce across CEE, with most of our development team being in Ukraine.

What you will do:

Project management:

- Oversee the software development lifecycle of new platform features

- Manage daily stand ups and sprints

- Ensure delivery of new functionality on timely basis

- Provide direct day to day management of the six engineers / QA specialists;

Technical leadership:

- Investigate and implement new solutions and technologies

- Implement best practices to improve the code base and reduce tech debt

Platform scaling:

- Improve infrastructure scaling to support fast user growth

Security:

- Design and implement security processes to achieve SOC2 and ISO certifications

- Perform penetration tests and performance loading tests

Build a world-class team:

- Mentor junior engineers

- Hire and attract new technical team members

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of strong relevant technical experience

- 3+ years as Project Manager, Tech Leader, CTO in start-up environment;

- Expertise with NodeJS, Angular, AWS, Mongo;

- Experience with implementing QA processes / automated tests;

- Experience in building pipelines for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD);

- B.S. or more advanced degrees in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree

Location: We are prioritizing candidates that are located in the European Union (outside of Ukraine) as in-person meetings will be needed on regular basis with the rest of the EU-based team.
