The Web Data Collection Specialist utilizes our internal tool to gather and enhance information from diverse websites, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Additionally, the role involves modifying the tool as needed to improve functionality and efficiency.

Organizational Context
The Web Data Collection Specialist will be part of the Operations Team reporting to the Head of Operations. The role may require working closely with other members of the Operations Team and the assigned Account Service Manager Team, wherever required, for each specific project.

▪ Data accuracy and completeness of the assigned tasks

▪ Effective communication with the team members and the supervisor to promptly overcome potential issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Essential:
▪ Knowledge of the main crawling/scraping technique is required
▪ Knowledge & Skills Understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS.
▪ Basic knowledge in node.js is required.
▪ Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.

Desirable:
▪ Basic knowledge of Scrapy in Python and/or playwright browser (or puppeteer)

Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
▪ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
▪ Ability to work in autonomy with minimal supervision.
▪ Effective time management and commitment in achieving the assigned tasks on time.
▪ Capable to collaborate effectively with colleagues and interact with others Department.
▪ Passion for quality and proactive improvement attitudes.
