Senior Backend Engineer Offline

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer specialized in Payments Integration to ensure a smooth and secure transaction experience for our users and partners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating with various payment service providers and developing PCI/DSS compliance solutions to enhance our platform's capabilities.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable payment systems for seamless transactions across multiple payment service providers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement payment requirements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Implement secure and efficient payment processing methods, ensuring the security of sensitive financial data.

- Conduct regular testing and debugging of payment systems, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.

- Monitor and optimize payment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability, ensuring a seamless payment experience for our users.

- Document and maintain APIs related to payment integrations, ensuring clear and comprehensive guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.

- Payment Gateway Integration: Implement secure fiat payment gateway integrations; Collaborate with third-party payment providers.

- Transaction Processing: Develop systems for efficient fiat deposits and withdrawals; Monitor and reconcile transactions.

- Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; Implement measures to protect payment information.

- API Development: Design APIs for fiat payment processing.

Requirements

- Proficiency in English.

- Master's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with equivalent practical experience.

- Solid expertise in backend development and platform architecture, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in related roles.

- Proven experience in integrating with various payment service providers and implementing diverse payment methods.

- Strong command of Java programming language.

- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, preferably on platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

- Experience with building secure and scalable distributed systems, preferably with microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with relational databases and proficiency in optimizing database performance for payment processing.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and coordination with cross-functional teams.
