Flutter developer for nutrition app - seeking long term relationship Offline

We are an established fitness app on a mission to make it easier for people to live a healthier life through a balanced diet based on macronutrient tracking. Our app, available on iOS and Android, is used by thousands of people every day and we're growing our small team to take our app to the next level.

We are seeking an exceptional Flutter developer to join our small team of four on a full time basis. We prefer candidates seeking a steady, long term working relationship. Hours are flexible though meaningful overlap with USA timezones are preferred, especially in the beginning of the relationship as you onboard.

Our tech stack is very fun!

Frontend: Flutter and MeteorJS (node)

Backend: fastapi (python) and MeteorJs (node)

Databases: postgresql and mongodb

Skills you'll bring:

* Solid frontend experience developing in Flutter. Please be prepared to share a portfolio of your work.

* Solid backend experience developing in at least one of these languages: python, nodejs

* Proficiency with GitHub: creating branches, pull requests, and using pull requests for code review.

* Attention to detail when reading ticket specifications, building product, and reviewing code.

* Strong written English. We primarily operate in Slack, Linear, and Github. You should feel comfortable asking questions, seeking clarification, and posting updates in our team channels.

* Proactive communicator and collaborator. We are a fully remote company and this model only works when all team members proactively engage each other provide support, ask and answer questions, pair on code and reviews, and generally enjoy being a team player.

* Ownership mindset. The right candidate takes responsibility for their code and the outcomes it achieves and enjoys being empowered to make the decisions that will lead to those outcomes.

Requirements:

* Candidates will undergo a technical screening with our CTO in which you complete a short fullstack assignment in the frameworks you know. The screening will take no more than one hour.
