Senior QA Automation with Java OR Python (Cloud and OOP mandatory) Offline

Project Description:

You will be a QE counterpart of a highly collaborative GCP (Google Cloud Provider) Cloud Collector team that

is working on our newest cloud native product offering Cloud Native Application Observability (CNAO). The

team builds microservices that collect observability data from Google Cloud and ingests it into Cisco Full Stack

Observability (FSO) platform for further processing, storage, cross domain correlation and visualization. The

product is based on a highly distributed microservice architecture.

This role is technically demanding with a need for programming, understanding application architecture, and

a dedication to understanding how customers use our products on SaaS (Software as a Service). Our top priority

as the Quality Engineering team is test automation and constantly adapting to maintain exceedingly high

quality. Each member of the Quality Engineering team will develop tests and test applications, add to existing

and build new framework/ tools, CI/CD processes, familiar with the latest DevOps processes and technologies

being used in the industry.

Responsibilities:

- building & improving automated testing frameworks, tools, automated test suites

- writing test applications to closely resemble customer applications and use cases.

- exploratory testing skills with a product and customer mindset

Mandatory Skills Description:Java OR Python, TestNG, API test automation, exploratory testing, experience with GCP or any other Cloud Service Provider (Cloud experience mandatory)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Debugging with Splunk, Grafana

Experience with Docker

Experience with Component, Contract, and End to End testing frameworks using RESTful or similar APIs.

Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform

Experience with Web test automation tools such as Playwright
