Senior Backend Developer (Node.JS) Offline

Kiss My Apps is looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer (Node.JS) to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in creating and managing a PCI/DSS-compliant architecture and server. Main duties will involve designing, developing, and maintaining our critical infrastructure with a focus on both security and performance.

Kiss My Apps is a startup studio that specializes in developing mobile-first products.

Over the last year, the total MRR of Kiss My Apps products has grown 5 times, now our products attract up to 1.5M new users per month, and the total audience is already more than 25M users.

Our portfolio includes 20+ applications of various categories: Astrology, Utilities, Lifestyle, Health & Fitness, and others.

Hard skills required for the position:

🔹 Node.js/NestJS.

🔹 Knowledge in architectural design, especially in AWS serverless/semi-serverless.

🔹 Experience with other server-side languages like Python, Java.

🔹 Strong knowledge of PCI/DSS compliance requirements.

🔹 Experience with server architecture and setup.

🔹 Understanding of security requirements and protections such as SSL, data encryption methods, and secure coding practices.

🔹 Familiarity with database technology such as Postgres, Oracle, and MongoDB.

🔹 Knowledge of software design principles and architectural patterns.

Nice to have:

🔹 AWS Developer Skills.

🔹 Expertise in Docker.

🔹 Experience with server-side languages like PHP, Ruby, and .Net.

Job responsibilities include:

🔹 Establish and maintain a PCI/DSS-compliant architecture and server environment. Ensure all development is compliant with these standards.

🔹 Design and build scalable AWS serverless/semi-serverless architectures from business requirements while ensuring the system's scalability and stability.

🔹 Use your understanding of security requirements and protections to build secure applications, including SSL, data encryption methods, and secure coding practices.

🔹 Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and proactivity.
