Strong Senior Java Developer (4+ years of exp) (offline)

Project Description:
We're looking for two strong senior engineers to improve and expand our client's solution for Energy Market Management. This solution will allow Energy operators to run energy wholesale marketplaces and power exchange where traders, energy producers and energy distributors trades energy and related services. This solution is an IT system that is running on Linux, JEE platform and SQL databases.

Market solution is already used in several on-going projects, but needs technical improvements on platform level to support both on-going projects and future developments. Market Management development team is located in Kyiv with Product Owner/PM from client's side in Paris.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development software according to functional requirements
- Application and DB performance tuning
- Daily communication with Customer's technical persons and analyst
- Fix defects and develop functional increments
- Be capable to test software (unit and integration testing)

Mandatory Skills:
- advanced spoken and written English
- Java / J2EE (must)
- Spring Framework (must)
- Web Services (SOAP and/or REST)
- Hibernate (must)

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Angular/JS (desired)
- JBPM (highly desired)
- GWT (desired)

Languages:
English: Upper-intermediate
