QA/Test engineer (PL) Offline

We are looking for a skilled QA / Test Engineer to help our Swiss client take the live-streaming world by storm!

Our client is a young Swiss scale-up company, Vinivia, dedicated to providing an interactive, AR-enabled, live-streaming solution for individuals, corporations, brands, and ad agencies. They aim to become the #1 platform in the streaming world and are now expanding their team to reach this goal.

We are seeking a talented and dedicated QA/Test Engineer to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile apps, with expertise in testing React Native, native iOS/Android, and 3D rendering.

What you will do in this role

- Collaborate within a cross-functional DevSecOps team, including developers, Frontend Engineers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and scrum masters.

- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile apps on iOS and Android platforms.

- Execute manual and automated testing to identify and report issues.

- Ensure that code changes meet coding standards, best practices, and quality standards.

- Conduct regression testing to validate the stability of applications.

- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.

- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies and mobile app testing.

- Mentor and guide junior QA/Test Engineers.

- Participate actively in maintaining quality standards.

We’re looking for

- A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a QA/Test Engineer, preferably in a similar development environment.

- An open mindset and adaptability to diverse perspectives and ideas.

- Proficiency in agile software development methodologies, particularly Scrum, and related ceremonies.

- Talent for crafting well-structured test cases and test scenarios, ensuring that the full spectrum of application functionality is thoroughly evaluated.

- Your experience includes documenting defects with precision and clarity, encompassing step-by-step reproduction instructions and pertinent environmental context.

- Solid experience with testing mobile apps developed using React Native and native programming for iOS and Android platforms.

- Thorough understanding of mobile app testing strategies, design patterns, and software development principles.

How to knock our socks off

- Familiarity with AR/3D rendering and AI/ML algorithms integration is a plus.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; -knowledge of German is advantageous.
