PROEXE is a company operating since 2013 in the mobile/web interactive solutions market. We have been part of the largest private capital group in Poland - VECTRA since 2020.

Due to the dynamic development, we are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with Kotlin. You will be responsible for building new exciting products and developing backend development skills through various research methods. We continuously strive to leverage the latest solutions and research bleeding-edge new technologies!

We expect:

- 2+ years of commercial experience with Java/Kotlin backend development

- Strong Knowledge of Kotlin, REST, SQL

- Solid Experience with writing unit and integration tests

- Strong analytical skills

- Strong English, at least B2+

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of Ktor Server, Exposed, Coroutines, Vert.x

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field

- Experience in working with Docker containers

- Good understanding of the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing the Terraform

- Strong infrastructure background, familiarity with AWS IAM

Streaming ingestion technologies like Apache Kafka

- Data transformation

- NoSQL database and Redis

- Experience with AWS and other storage and computing cloud services: S3, Lambda, Glue, ECS

Responsibilities:

- Solid and robust software development for IoT platform cloud infrastructure

- Ensuring the quality of the implemented solutions by writing tests for key project elements, responding to input about errors from the QA test team

- Writing technical documentation (algorithm descriptions, flowcharts, etc.)

- Being constantly oriented to new emerging technological solutions that can positively impact the quality of the products

- Collaborating closely on improving the architecture
