Position: AWS SRE (DevOps) Engineer - Long-term Project

Our partner is currently seeking an experienced AWS SRE (DevOps) Engineer to join a long-term project. As an AWS SRE (DevOps) Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and stability of the system.

Requirements:

The must:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field

- Proven capability to operate autonomously and with minimal guidance, converting high-level objectives into quantifiable steps and successfully accomplishing them.

- Extensive knowledge of Linux/Windows environments, Cloud infrastructure, Messaging/Streaming technologies, Data-stores/Databases, Application/API creation, Internet and Networking Protocols, Security Architecture, Version Control Systems, and CI/CD tools.

- Profound understanding of AWS products and their optimal utilization for scalability, reliability, resilience, and resource efficiency.

- Experience with automation using Terraform/Cloud Formation and configuration management using SaltStack, Ansible, Chef, or similar.

- Some form of programming experience

- A desire and capability to acquire new technological knowledge, new competencies, and tackle challenging issues.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have:

- Engaging directly with customers and top-tier executives in a counseling or consultancy role.

- Extensive experience with major cloud deployments on platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Compute, or OpenStack.

- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture, Micro-services, and distributed computing/processing systems

- Experience with Automated Testing or Test Data Management.

- Proficiency in containerization technologies and industry best practices, particularly Kubernetes.
