We are looking for smart, dynamic, and intuitive people to join our growing team of technology professionals and industry experts.
We are building an enterprise BI/Reporting module. This is a position that will enable us to write frameworks and its implementations for streaming and transforming high-volume data among different databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Warehouse and dashboard development and implementation of existing frameworks enhancements
- Building and deploying scalable and reliable data pipelines to move large amounts of data
- New feature development and bug fixing for the existing functionality
- Participation in unit, integration, automation and functional testing
- Code review, design documents prepared by architects
- Interaction with business analysts, system architects and quality assurance to ensure the finalized requirements are clear, concise, comprehensive, unambiguous, and well-documented
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
- 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering development
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in programming technologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Snowflake, Databricks or similar vendors
- DBT or other ETL tools
- SQL
- Git
- At least an Intermediate English level with the ability of verbal and written communication
- Focus on the customer
- Ability to work in the team
- Experience with Jira, Wiki
- Experience in writing technical documentation
The following skills would be a plus:
- Knowledge in DevOps, configuration, and setting of DBT, Snowflake, and Fivetran
- Past experience with Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Spark
