Looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Python and React developer to join a productive and collaborative SaaS development team

(the position will be a bit more BE-oriented, maybe 30% react — 70% python)

About the project

The project is a secure online Medicaid application product that assists families and caregivers using an organized step-by-step online format. The App reduces the stress, time and energy traditionally associated with the Medicaid application process. Our streamlined, simplified process enables people to focus on what really matters: the care of themselves and their loved ones. Developed by the leading Medicaid application company, Senior Planning Services (SPS), App is currently available in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the use cases and requirements from business and provide technical solutions

• Write effective, scalable Python code with proper unit tests, error handling and logging

• Test and debug programs and improve functionality of existing systems

• Provide estimates and communicate project plan to stakeholders

• Continually look for process improvements and more efficient use of technology

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Python Coding and its data related libraries ex. Pandas, FastAPI

• Strong knowledge of React.js, Typescript, Javascript

• Knowledge of Application, data, infrastructure architecture disciplines

• Experience with Restful APIs, Selenium, Git, bash scripting

• Preferred: Familiarity with Docker, AWS ECS, AWS Lambda functions
