DevOps Engineer Offline

We are looking for an experienced Junior DevOps to join our partner business rocket. Our ideal candidate should have experience working with remote teams and be flexible in terms of timeshifts.

MUST HAVE:

- experience working in DevOps positions for at least 1 year;

- understanding of operating systems such as Linux and Windows, and knowing how to manage them;

- experience in working with laaC Terraform;

- k8s - from set-up to management;

- understanding of networks and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP and being able to configure network settings;

- experience using automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef, and being able to configure them;

- an understanding of version control systems such as Git, and the ability to work with repositories;

- an understanding of cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP);

- experience with containers such as Docker and being able to configure them;

- good communication skills to easily communicate with other team members and solve problems;

- experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB and be able to manage them;

- familiarity with the Statuspage and Jira support platforms;

- analytical skills to quickly analyze problems and find solutions;

- knowledge of English at the level of upper-intermediate or higher.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- configuring and managing the configuration of various applications and systems, using automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet;

- configure and manage version control systems, such as Git;

- deploying, monitoring, and updating applications using containerization tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes;

- managing infrastructure that supports applications and systems, and can use cloud management tools such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;

- monitor application and infrastructure performance, and debug and troubleshoot problems;

- automating application and infrastructure development and deployment processes, using tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI;

- configuring and managing databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB;

- working in teams with developers, testers, and other DevOps specialists to ensure effective deployment and management of applications and infrastructure;

- training and development to improve your skills and become an experienced DevOps specialist.
