About our client:

Jabil Wireless is a separate division of Jabil EMS, overseeing the manufacturing and development of connectivity solutions. The division is engaged in the development and maintenance of a flexible SW platform to accommodate various Radio hardware variants and types from one common code base.

Project description:

There are a variety of projects that the team will be engaged with. The team is responsible for performing Integration and System tests on the Jabil mainline radio products. The core team consists of 6 testing engineers.

Requirements:

- Experience working on test automation development (4+ yrs).

- Experience working on embedded systems testing (2+yrs).

- Comfortable working in both manual and automated Testing tasks.

- Hands-on experience in (3.8+) and PyTest framework.

- Hands-on experience with XML processing.

- Hands-on experience with RestAPIs.

- Hands-on experience in embedded systems testing.

- Hands-on experience in black-box hardware testing.

- Good knowledge of the Linux operating system, and command line.

- Good understanding of networking protocols.

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Should be able to write & maintain functional and non-functional test cases & system level test cases.

- Test Documentation Preparation and maintenance (test plan, test cases, test results, review).

- Overseeing Daily Regression Test suite, reporting Daily Regression status.

- Should have a thorough understanding of STLC/Bug-life cycle with hands-on experience in using Test Management tools, Bug-tracking tools, and reviewing QA documentation such as Test-cases, Test-plan,

Traceability matrix, Test-coverage extent.

- Experience in working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies.

- Experience with analysing requirements, creation, and execution of test cases and reporting of test results, test plans creation.

- Good written and verbal communication skills are needed to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations.

- English level - Upper-Intermediate‌

Will be a plus:

Manual testing, including on hardware equipment.

Knowledge of Netconf (ncclient).

Knowledge of YANG (ability to understand and modify YANG Modelsy).

Pandas framework.

Test Instrument Control SCPI with sockets(keysight)

Radio Frequency Knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Automation of the existing test plan, adjustment to new requirements.

Maintenance of the existing test plan, writing new test cases and test plans

Connection to remote equipment using different networking protocols/tools.

Configuration, testing, debugging and troubleshooting of remote equipment (both software and hardware aspects).

Writing scripts on to automate different tasks.
