Description of the project

The company helps YouTube creators and media companies internationalize their content and extend their reach. By using our platform, customers can order translations for their content, manage the dubbing process with our reviewers, translators and dubbers, and finally the employees can use the back office to manage all the involved personas in the platform, their roles, permissions and capabilities.

We’re looking for a 📢Backend Engineer with experience in GCP distributed architectures that can drive this project with passion and confidence.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

📌Design, build and maintain highly scalable and reliable distributed services using Node.js on GCP.

📌Manage serverless services like functions and app engine, and with pub/sub architectures.

📌Build and deploy containers using Cloud Run.

📌Improve and maintain the CI/CD pipelines to support the delivery cycles.

📌Improve the quality of the code through writing unit tests and automation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

💥3+ years knowledge in distributed system design and implementation.

💥In depth knowledge of data structures and distributed architectural patterns.

💥Experience with GCP (Functions, Endpoints, PubSub, AppEngine, Cloud Run, etc.) written in Node.js and possibly other languages.

💥Level of English:B2.

Preferred qualification:

⚡️Experience deploying heavy video processing pipelines on GCP using FFMpeg, and also AI applications with Python and Docker.
