Senior Elixir Developer Offline

About the project:

With locations around the globe, including Amsterdam, Ukraine, Indonesia, and China, we're a fast-growing e-commerce company with webshops in 16 different countries. We like to move fast and try out new things, and shift the boundaries of what current technologies are capable of.

How is the team built up?:

We have a team of 7 programmers in total. Two Front-End programmers from Ukraine work there, a Back-End, a Front-End, and a Full-Stack developer are from the Philippines, and one more Back-End developer is located in Indonesia. In the Netherlands, we have our Lead Full-Stack Developer.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development

Experience in Erlang or Elixir, OTP, GenStage, GenServer

Experience with Ecto, PostgreSQL, Phoenix, Absinthe/GraphQL

Affinity with E-commerce

Experience with Browser Automation is a plus

Experience with frontend technologies like React/TypeScript is a plus

What can you expect?:

That you work closely with our main programmer in the Netherlands. This lead programmer is a senior in Elixir and has been working on improvements to our current system over the last year. You work flexibly from home and/or at the office.

That you are passionate about your profession! Our main programmer is very sure that this can be contagious. If you do not want to improve continuously and you do not see a challenge to create something revolutionary, then this function is not for you.
