Requirements:

- At least 4+ years of DevOps experience using AWS

- Working knowledge of Terraform, Hadoop

- Be a team player in a multi-national team

- Highly desirable: experience with Cloudera CDP/CDE

Responsibilities:

The main goal for this role is to execute the migration of the Spark application from Cloudera on-premises deployment to AWS:

- Understand current application structure and deployment

- Work with Cloudera architects on the architecture of the AWS deployment

- Make recommendations for improvements to the current solution

- Assist with the evaluation of the alternatives (EMR vs Cloudera CDP)

- Prepare infrastructure using Terraform

- Build deployment pipelines

- Execute migration and support the client during the process
