As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll be joining a fast-growing engineering team to deliver our industry-leading security products to thousands of customers around the world!

Qualifications and Experience:

5+ years of experience as a developer

3+ years of experience as a Python software developer with exposure to a broad range of Python projects

Comfortable with git and GitHub for collaboration with other developers

Proficient in working with Django framework, including creating/updating models and working with routes and middleware

Familiarity with relational databases and constructing efficient SQL queries

Optional experience building/maintaining command-line utilities and tools

Confident English speaker with good written communication skills

Professional with a strong sense of follow-up and follow-through

Committed to continual learning and self-education

Excellent communicator for collaborating with team members globally over various mediums (Slack, Shared Documents, Video calls)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for entire lifecycle of new features, including defining project specs, building back-end and front-end, testing, deploying, and performing maintenance

Respond to occasional bug reports

Break down big projects into actionable software development steps

Responsive and clear communicator, available during overlap hours with team and leaving clear messages/documentation when not online

Available during some business hours in Pacific time zone for team and customer meetings
