Middle Python/Odoo Developer Offline

Smart Tek Solutions is a leading IT service provider that serves Fortune 500 companies in the US. Our goal is to become a leading employer in Ukraine and now we are looking for a Middle Python/Odoo Developer to join our team.

Requirements:

- Solid experience with ERP/Odoo;

- Good problem-solving and debugging skills;

- Clear-cut understanding of object-oriented programming concepts;

- Must be able to write/create/implement complex business logic in the backend;

- Have sound knowledge of Odoo MVC architecture;

- Shall have worked in and have good functional knowledge of business concepts like Inventory, eCommerce, Manufacturing, Accounting, CRM, Purchasing, Sales, Barcode, Human resources, and Financial reporting;

- Have strong technical & functional knowledge of Odoo core modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, Qweb Reporting, Barcode, eCommerce, and Marketing Automation; Have knowledge of Odoo.sh;

- Have knowledge of Odoo installation;

- Should have knowledge of Odoo Mobile Application;

- Experience in Odoo profiling and optimization caching mechanisms;

- Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills;

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Business processes & System architecture;

- Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions;

- Demonstrated experience in the development of Technical/Functional documentation;

- Sound knowledge of version control system tools like git and its tools available in the market such as handling Docker, Github, and Bitbucket;

- Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot, debug and support complex Odoo customizations, integrating Odoo with third-party REST API;

- Should have knowledge of Database tuning to achieve high performance;

- Experience in writing unit testing and test case automation;

- Ability to customize existing core modules and add/remove additional features in it;

- English: Upper-Intermediate.

Will be a plus:

- Knowledge of the Odoo UI JS framework;

- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies and the ability to integrate new things within Odoo.

Responsibilities:

- Develop new modules into the Odoo ERP;

- Integrate different 3rd party systems as modules into the Odoo ERP;

- End to End implementation of the Odoo ERP system as per the business needs;

- Customize and maintain existing modules of the Odoo ERP.
