Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) Offline

In this role, you will design an app that will serve millions of users globally. You will have to iterate fast, building the sketches and prototypes for business stakeholders as well as creating designs for the development team.

We’re a funded US-based early-stage startup. Our mission is to apply technology to help people improve themselves. We are building a mobile application and a platform around it that assists users in improving the quality of their lives in a very practical and data-driven way.

There are too many businesses that have developed smart techniques to capture people’s attention and sell it for ads. We want to break the vicious cycle and create a product that helps people reclaim their time, break bad habits and develop good ones.

In this role, you will design an app that will serve millions of users globally. You will have to iterate fast, building the sketches and prototypes for business stakeholders as well as creating designs for the development team. As one of our first designers, you will be responsible for setting the design guidelines for the company. Your designs will define the brand and provide the best user experience. Given the nature of what we want to build, you’ll get to work on the hardest user interface challenges in the world. You will work directly with the founding team.

Responsibilities:

- Design beautiful user experiences for mobile application

- Validate product hypotheses

- Take part in research activities alone or alongside with Head of Product and Product manager

- Create and refine design artifacts (CJMs, Experience maps, personas, etc) based on findings from users

- Ship, measure and improve your designs iteratively based on quantitative and qualitative feedback, and informed by market trends and business goals

- Create detailed design documentation for the development team

- As a member of an early-stage startup still in stealth, you will have the opportunity to have a large influence on product direction

Requirements:

- Strong design portfolio with real products and case-studies;

- 5-10+ years as a Product Designer (Middle to Senior)

- Experience designing iOS Applications required, including knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines;

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills — you’ll be collaborating with others, including the Head of Product, Product-Manager and CEO and founder and presenting your work for approval regularly

- Good conversational English to conduct user interviews and usability tests with English-speaking users

- Experience with Figma and its prototyping capabilities

- Experience with Protopie a plus

- Strong consumer-facing experience

- Passionate about product and design
